The Product Operations Specialist serves as the technical leader between connected Suppliers and the Classic Vacations information management systems. This position requires the ability to recruit, troubleshoot and enter detailed connector information into Classic’s database, to make pricing and inventory (guestrooms) available for sale through our reservation system and website. Once the information is entered, the Product Operations Specialist must also work closely with the supplier partners via phone and email as well as troubleshoot and answer questions about any connector-related issues for internal Reservations and Product Development departments.

Skills required for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Basic math skills (High School or equivalent)
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills (Windows, Outlook, Excel, and data entry), typing (40 WPM +)
• High attention to detail
• Good verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to multi-task, learn the specifics of each connector, problem solve, and meet deadlines
• Advanced troubleshooting and system knowledge

Specific competency requirements are outlined below. The duties and responsibilities below set forth some, but not all, of the job requirements.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: The Connector Product Administrator is responsible for recruiting vendors, troubleshooting issues and entering detailed connector information into Classic’s database (PleX) including the following:

• Recruiting, verifying, and mapping vendors for connectivity launch
• Entering and managing connector set up in Classic’s database
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues with vendors as well as the internal departments
• Process daily and weekly connector QA reports
• Manage connector Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook to be able to compose letters and emails, calculate buy/sell margins, and understand how data entry affects company profits
• Assume additional responsibilities as defined by Supervisor, Manager, and Director

• Writing skills – Demonstrate solid verbal and written communication skills through vendor correspondence
• Verbal Skills- Must be able to answer calls from Reservations and vendors
